Organs Donation and Myth
Among the many myths of the donation of body is the idea that one allows many people in the comas to die to harvest their bodies. There is an important difference between the dead and comatose brain, and no person in only one coma will be allowed to die for the Organ donation.
It is another myth that doctors treating patients are prejudiced by the viewpoint of another patient in want of a transplant. The truth is that health treatment teams & transplant teams are always poles apart, & the health team will fight to save life regardless of the organ donation status of the patient.
The controversy swirling long as the decision to organ donation to science is made. Ethical issues involving such diverse issues as economic or religious objections are often involved. These issues should weigh against the value of life itself. Other issues such as reproduction and use of animal organs for transplants more complicate future editions. Many of these disputes are making news today while the entire application bioethics becomes one of the main philosophical problems of modern society.
Another concern about organ donation is the effect it has on the body, but this is another myth. The bodies were removed by careful incisions and surgical procedures wounds are carefully closed.
